Gypsy Rose Blanchard's mother, Dee Dee, falsely claimed her daughter was suffering from different illnesses until Gypsy arranged for her boyfriend to kill her mother in Gypsy Rose Lee’s memoir became a New York Times bestseller ininspiring the hit musical, two movies, and three revivals.

Now a fourth, directed by Arthur Laurents and starring Patti LuPone, is lighting up New York, winning top Broadway theatre awards, including three Tony Awards, as well as raves from critics and audiences: “No matter how long you live, you4/5(81).

At truly great book. I always make how good an autobiography is if I feel I become a bigger fan of the person after I finished the book, than I was when I started the book. In the case of this book I was that was done by the time I finished the introduction. Tyson Fury is a Reviews: K.

About The World of Raymond Chandler. The World of Raymond Chandler shows how Chandler precariously balanced the values of a classical English education against those of a fast-evolving America during the years before the Great War; how he adopted Los Angeles as his home after WWI, with Hollywood in turn adopting him (and adapting his works); how his detective hero and alter ego Philip.
